I took my photos at my church because I was already hanging out there with my friends, and I figured they could help me. The challenge actually surprised me, and felt more like a game than an assignment. Out of all the pictures I took, the joy photo was definitely the strongest. We were all trying to get my friend to laugh so I could catch the perfect moment, and made the shot feel more genuine than anything else I captured. It was also the most inventive one because it all my friends coming together and just being ourselves and having fun.
