The Rock had always existed in the quiet places, half‑buried in moss, warmed by sunlight. It had no name, no purpose, no voice. It simply was. And for a long while, that was enough. But the Unknown had a way of stirring even the most unmoving things. A hand scooped the Rock from the earth, brushing away centuries of dust. The Rock didn’t awaken but something shifted. A new kind of stillness settled inside it. A stillness that noticed. And from that moment on, the Rock began to witness the world.

If the Rock could dream, in the way stones dream of erosion and time, its dreams would look like this warm sunlight on polished surfaces. Quiet corners where moss grows thick. Riverbeds where water smooths every edge. Shelves where someone chooses to put a stone. A home where stillness is not neglect, but solitude.

These aren’t not human dreams. They are the dreams of something that has been carried, dropped, and pocketed.

For breakfast the Rock had berries, pine, sticks, and cloves!

    Final Weekly Summary

This semester felt like learning how to build a house while the instructions were written in disappearing ink. Every week pushed me into a kind of creativity I didn’t think I had, and honestly, most of it felt hard, confusing, and frustrating. But I actually learned a lot about how stories can live across different forms of media like sound, visuals, design, and movement. I learned that storytelling is about atmosphere and pacing. It’s the way an image can say something a paragraph can’t, or how a sound can make a moment feel alive. I learned how much work goes into even the smallest piece of media, and how color, timing, silence, and texture can change the meaning. I learned that even when I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing, I can still make something that feels creative. I spent a lot of time being overwhelmed, which made everything feel harder than it needed to be. In the future, I’d give myself more room to play instead of trying to get everything “right” on the first try.
